The Book Identifies Solutions and Locations of Accessible Astronomy With a publishing date of June 1, 2011 and available through Amazon. com, this innovative book provides strategies for educators on how to make their astronomy programs more accessible and welcoming to people with disabilities and also includes a national directory of accessible observatories, planetariums and star parties.

Noreen A. Grice is an author of five previously published accessible astronomy books, an astronomy educator, accessibility specialist, and founder of You Can Do Astronomy LLC.

Noreen is a pioneer in being the first to have a Braille book available via Amazon in 2002 called “Touch the Universe”and again now “Everyone’s Universe” 

Noreen is recognized for her contributions to making science more accessible and is recipient of several awards including the 2005 Bank of America Local Hero, 2007 Klumpke-Roberts Award (Astronomical Society of the Pacific), 2008 Jacob Bolotin Award (National Federation of the Blind), 2009 YMCA Award, 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award (Boston University) and is acknowledged as an expert in accessible astronomy.
