Teachers + Imagination = Education's Future
Amy Rafkin Simply Consistent Educational Consultant & Kathleen Checki, President
Our mission is to save America’s children. However, when we examine traditional teaching ideologies we witness a lack of enthusiasm to promote imaginative thinking in students. When students approach problems utilizing different perspectives they are generally dissuaded from doing so and placed back on the standard or "acceptable" path of problem resolution. This ideology is not only detrimental to students but to educators as well.
Room needs to be made to allow our children and educational establishments to grow and move in new directions with regard to promoting forward thinking and novel ideas.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. -- Einstein
Participation is essential from teachers, students, school administration, parents and local community businesses.
